Learn a little bit about the team behind Lichfield Community Sports.
Started coaching in 2012 at grassroots level, taking a team from U6s to U16s. Gaining FA level 1 and 2 qualifications along the way.
During this time I also volunteered for Liberty jamboree and gained my level 1 in disability football qualification.
I started Saturday soccer schools back in 2015, which progressed onto our amazing holiday camps that are still loved to this day.
Now as head of operations, I continue to strive to provide the best camps in our community. I work hard to bring fun filled new activities and experiences to our camps.
Also Derby County Academy – Lead Youth Development Phase – U12 to U16
I began coaching at the age of 16 working with a local grassroots team, gaining my Level 1 and 2 qualifications in football and working across a number of sports.
Then in 2010 I joined Derby County Football club as a pre academy coach. Moving into a role with the U9s the year after. I have now worked at Derby County academy for 10 years, working from U6s to U16s.
I am now working as Head of Pathway and Development at LCFS to oversee the pathway and development of all of our wonderful players and coaches, to help them reach their potential.
Having a varied career from assistant buyer at sainsburys, to events management and even qualifying as a nursery nurse. I enjoying bringing the education and organisation to LCFS.
Starting as a parent to children who attended the super Saturday soccer school and football camps. Before joining the team back in 2021, helping to lead the multi sports section of our brand.
I am also studying counselling and psychotherapy at Derby University.
Now as head of programs and compliance, I love working to provide the best experiences for the children. I combine a range of activities by using both local businesses and groups and of course our very own coaches. This is a great way to give all the children the best possible time at our camps and classes.
I work hard to make sure all of this is achieved in a safe and fun environment.
